In my talks to the public and companies for the last year, I have intentionally emphased that "it's okay to be a mediocre company in an industry of mediocre companies. You can even be financially successful being the least mediocre. The question is how do you succeed when a new competitor, providing remarkable customer experience, joins your market?"
Starting 2016, the best companies in the ASEAN region will eye the Philippine market place. For one, we have one of the fastest growing economy in the region. Second, the average age in the country is 23 years old. Countries with an average age of 30-40's are harder to sell to. They usually tend to save or invest for their children's college tuition. However, 23 years old are commonly referred to as the 'spending age'.
Can you compete with companies using best management practices? Can you win? Do you provide remarkable customer experience to your customers?
We have the privilege of working with progressive companies using our Remarkable Customer Experience (RCX) framework. If you are interested in a brief discussion about winning the ASEAN economy by providing Remarkable Customer Experience, please feel free to reach out. We are more than happy to come over.
Wishing you and your company the very best in the new ASEAN economy.
